I’m making plans to participate in NaNoWriMo next month! I’ve already been making extensive notes on Stargazer but I still haven’t officially started writing it.
It’s more than likely going to be more than 50k words but I can’t honestly say for certain. I think I can make it happen either way as long as I commit to making time for it. Around 2k words a day isn’t so bad. But now that I’ve typed that sentence out and have read it on the screen, it sounds a little daunting. But I’m a big boi. I can do it.
Historically, I have a hard time staying on task so I think this will be good for me. Obviously it’s not going to be in a state of perfection just like that, but this is going to be a good start. I’ve been making notes for about four months now so I think it’s finally time to dig in.
I’ll still work on poetry and/or flash fiction when I can but I want the work on Stargazer to be the priority for a while. I kinda wanna blame my meds for my lack of interesting dreams lately but hopefully that’ll change soon! I’m getting new ideas every day and I’m so excited to get down to business next month!
